Got my Kawasaki GPX750R finished, didn't really need very much, to be fair. I had to go through the carbs and fit new bowl gaskets and generally clean them up, I also fitted a set of pod filters as somebody had butchered the air box. They were always a bit of a nightmare to get off and to remove the carbs but it's a shame that small part of originality has gone. I still have the airbox and it could be repaired but the pods felt like a better option as it will make future servicing a lot easier for the next owner and you don't see them when the panels are on anyway.
the original filter was a free flowing one so there was no need to go in to rejetting, the bike revs cleanly and crisply on it's standard settings.
it really is a very attractive bike in superb condition, it's only done 33k miles, which looking at past MooT's seems about right. Somebody will be getting a bargain with this one, I just want to see if I can get a replacement rear light for it as the corners are broken off, it will then go for an MoT and be up for sale.
